The Teen Debit account is designed for young adults ages 13–17, helping them learn how to manage their finances and build independence.1 As part of the Generation Arrowhead youth membership, teens who open a Teen Debit account will automatically receive a free Arrowhead Savings account.2 These accounts promote financial responsibility and provide a safe way for teens to manage their money.

Is there a limit on how much my teen is able to spend daily with their Visa debit card?

Yes, there is a daily limit of $300 PIN or ATM based transactions and $1,000 for signature transactions.
 

Does the Teen Debit account offer check writing capabilities?

No, this account does not have check writing capabilities.
 

Is the Teen Debit account eligible for courtesy pay?

No, we do not offer Courtesy Pay on the Teen Accounts.
 

Are Teen accounts eligible for direct deposit?

About Arrowhead

 

1 Member entrance fee of $4 for membership and minimum $25 opening deposit required for account. Restrictions may apply. Not all applicants will be accepted. Parent or legal guardian required as Joint account holder.

2 Must maintain a $1 minimum balance in the Arrowhead Savings account for the membership to remain open. The savings account is separate from the Teen Debit account.

3 Daily transaction limits apply depending on the transaction type. Only certain transaction types may be used for this account.
